We’re thrilled to welcome the hotly tipped Slow Readers Club to the line up! Hailing from Manchester, The Slow Readers Club are a four piece who specialise in dark and brooding indie electro, drawing comparisons with Interpol, The Killers and The National. Their last three singles have enjoyed airplay on BBC 6 Music and XFM (featured twice as XFMs shock of the new) with the latest single Forever In Your Debt also featured in the top 5 singles of the week. Their live shows have received rave reviews from critics and fans alike. Highlights include a sold out show at Manchester’s Night and Day, Tramlines Festival & Party in the Pines along with support slots with ‘Catfish & The Bottlemen’, ‘The Struts’, ‘Reverend and the Makers’ and ‘The Sunshine Underground’.
Portsmouth born and bred band Kassassin Street have recently been signed to CODA agency. Offering their own brand of dance infused psychadelia they have a fervent following with sell out shows in Portsmouth, Eastney and Southampton. Their debut song ‘The Royal Handkerchief Ballet’ received recognition from the NME and support soon followed from BBC Introducing, Tom Robinson on 6Music, and Eddie Temple Morris on Xfm. A busy summer followed, seeing the band travel out to Isle Of Wight Festival, Truck Festival, and Bestival, where they gave “one of the standout performances of the weekend’ (eFestivals). They are sure to deliver another stand out set at this years Victorious Festival.
Home-grown in Hampshire, The Beautiful Secret consist of up and coming singer/songwriters Rachael Hawnt and Ash Cutler. Their melodically driven music is powerfully emotive and exciting, from big dramatic ballads to full on guitar led rock. Their Debut album is due for release this summer and their music is set to feature in a big motion picture that is due out next year.
Local party starters Rhythm of the 90’s have become notorious for exciting a crowd while they perform live covers of 90’s dance music hit after hit. Bringing back all that is brilliant about the 90’s and fresh from playing at Isle of Wight Festival they are not to be missed!
Singer-Songwriter Jerry Williams has gone from strength to strength with single ‘cold beer’ receiving over 45,000 views on Youtube, playing festivals and supporting artists like Vanessa Carlton and Jake Bugg on tour. Joining industry heavyweights Take That and Olly Murs this year at Hyde Park British Summer Time, make sure you see her hometown set at this years Victorious Festival.
